Latham Blueberry Farm

About Latham Blueberry Farm

The grounds have a formal English garden, antique car restoration facility, two acre mountain spring fed pond and private hiking trails.

Latham Wild Blueberry Farms is situated on 80 acres at the foothills of Mt. Ephraim in coastal Searsport Maine.

Twenty acres of the farm are allocated to growing and harvesting tons of our sweet wild blueberries every year. The remainder of the property we use to harvest timber and also enjoy 5 miles of trails for snow shoeing, snowmobiling, hiking and horse back riding.

The original farm house was built in 1826 and was used as a horse exchange for the Belfast to Bangor stagecoach run. The house has been fully renovated and restored with original moldings, plastered ceilings, wide floor boards and 5 working fireplaces. Although it has been furnished with early American decor it has all the modern amenities.

Included in your stay will be 3 private bedrooms, 2 baths, sauna/shower room, exercise/weight room and outdoor hot tub. Guests young and old will appreciate the big screen TV and game room. Fun for all when you play the antique pin ball machine, a game of darts, or challenge yourself to a air hockey game. Plan to sit on our large deck for afternoon grilling and relaxation overlooking the beautiful fields and mountains.

The grounds have a formal English garden with fountains and statues from Spain. You will find an ongoing automobile restoration facility where an array of classic and antique automobiles that are under restoration or service.

Enjoy floating in the two acre spring fed pond and catch a frog or two. If you visit us here at the farm you can expect to be woken up by the rooster, collect the morning eggs in the hen coop, watch our ducks navigate the paddock pond and perhaps get nuzzled from the star of the barn, Moses, our friendly horse. Come and enjoy what the farm has to offer then relax and take in the salty mountain breeze.
